1.  Natural Breathing -> Intentional Breathing

2.  Rib cage movement

  • Feel lower rib’s widening and narrow.

  • Feel back ribs fill.

  • Feel upper ribs rise from the added pressure of the breath.

  • Let the exhales be long and slow.

Remember if it is hard to feel from the inside out - feel from the outside in. Touch lower ribs, back ribs and or upper ribs with your hand.


Continue with the rib cage awareness on inhale | exhale with sound (ujjayi pranayama).    


3. Ujjayi Pranayama 


Ujjayi is performed by contracting the throat - as if to whisper - and breathing out ( and in) with a whispered tone to the breath.


Ujjayi pranayama on inhale and exhale.


Return to natural breathing.
